The privacy and cookies policy for the website www.metalwooddesign.pl (hereinafter: “Policy”) has been created and adopted by Metalwork Sp. z o.o.
Terms used in the Policy mean:
Website: the website www.metalwooddesign.pl;
User: an entity using the publicly available Website;
Owner: Metalwork Sp. z o.o. ul. Rynkowska 13, 85-503 Bydgoszcz; NIP967 1477426
Cookies: text files sent by the Website and stored on the User’s end device, which the User uses when Browse websites. These files contain information necessary for the proper functioning of the Website. Cookies most often contain the name of the domain of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device, and a number;
The purpose of the Policy is, in particular:
To provide Users with information regarding the use of Cookies on the Website, as required by law, including the Telecommunications Law;
To ensure Users’ privacy protection to the extent corresponding to the standards and requirements specified in applicable legal provisions.
The Owner limits the collection and use of information about Users to the necessary minimum required to provide services to them.
To gain full access through the Website to the content and services offered by the Owner, it is advisable to accept the principles resulting from the Policy.
The following legal provisions apply, among others:
The Act of 16 July 2004, Telecommunications Law (Journal of Laws 2017.1907 as amended);
The Act of 18 July 2002 on providing services by electronic means (Journal of Laws 2017.1219 as amended);
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal L 119 of 4.5.2016) together with Polish personal data protection regulations.

§ 2. Protection of Privacy and Personal Data
Data concerning Users are processed by the Owner in accordance with legal provisions. Personal data of Users obtained by the Owner are processed based on the User’s consent or the existence of another premise entitling to data processing according to regulations, in particular the Regulation.
The Owner exercises particular diligence to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular ensures that these data are:
Processed lawfully, fairly, and in a transparent manner for Clients and other data subjects;
Collected for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes;
Adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed;
Accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date;
Kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed;
Processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures.
The Owner applies appropriate technical and organizational measures ensuring the protection of processed personal data appropriate to the nature, scope, context, and purposes of processing, and the risk of infringement of the rights or freedoms of natural persons.
The Owner strives to systematically modernize the IT, technical, and organizational means of protecting these data, in particular, the Owner ensures updates of IT protection means allowing for protection against viruses, unauthorized access, and other threats arising from the functioning of the IT system and telecommunications networks.
To every User who has made their data available to the Owner in any way, the Owner ensures access to data and the exercise of other rights by data subjects, in accordance with applicable legal provisions in this regard, including the right to:
Withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
Information regarding their personal data;
Control data processing, including supplementing, updating, rectifying, deleting them;
Object to processing or to restrict processing;
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority and use other legal remedies to protect their rights.
The Owner may process personal data automatically, including through profiling, on principles resulting from the Regulation. In such a case, the Owner’s actions are aimed at marketing purposes or the need to personalize messages sent to Users (including adapting information to the User’s needs or expectations). The User has the right to object to such processing of their data – this objection can be expressed by sending a message to the Owner’s address: biuro@metalwooddesign.pl
A person with access to personal data processes them only based on the Owner’s authorization or a personal data processing entrustment agreement and solely on the Owner’s instruction.

§ 3. Cookies
Cookies identify the User, which allows for adapting the content of the website they use to their needs. By remembering their preferences, it enables appropriate adaptation of content directed to them, including advertisements. The Owner uses Cookies to guarantee an appropriate standard of Website convenience, and the collected data are used only within the company to optimize operations.
Cookies are used for:
Adapting Website content to User preferences
Optimizing Website use, in particular by recognizing the User’s end device
Creating statistics
Maintaining the User’s session
Providing the User with advertising content.
Cookies may be placed on the User’s end device.
The collected data are used to monitor and check how Users use the Website to improve the Website’s functioning, ensuring more effective and trouble-free navigation.
It should be remembered that in some cases, independent of the Owner, software installed by the User on the end device, used for Browse websites (e.g., internet browser) introduces default storage of Cookies on the User’s end device. Users can change the settings concerning Cookies at any time. These settings can be changed, among others, in such a way as to block automatic Cookie settings or inform about their placement on the User’s end device each time. Detailed information in this regard is available in the settings and instructions for the software (internet browser).
The User has the ability to disable or restore the cookie collection option at any time by changing the settings in their internet browser.
Changing the settings constitutes an expression of objection, which in the future may cause difficulties in using the Website. Complete disabling of the option to accept Cookies will not mean the inability to view content placed on the Website, with the exception of those requiring login access.
Failure to change the settings means that the data will be placed on the User’s end device (using the Website will result in automatic placement of Cookies on the User’s end device).
Stored data placed on the User’s end device do not cause configuration changes to the User’s end device or software installed on that device.
Information regarding Cookies also applies to other similar technologies used within the Website.

§ 4. Final Provisions
The Policy has been adopted by virtue of the Owner’s order and enters into force on …….. Changes to the content of the Policy may occur in the same manner.
Any deviations from the Policy require written form under pain of nullity.
The law applicable to the Policy is the law of the Republic of Poland.
In matters not regulated by the Policy, relevant legal provisions apply.
